The world's local bank
Bank of Bermuda Foundation has five sub-committees that focus on the following areas:
- Human Services, including housing
- Youth Development and Sports
- Education
- Arts, Culture, Heritage and Environment
- Charity in general
As an involved corporate citizen over many years, the Bank set up three trusts through which it organised its charitable giving and scholarships. In order to consolidate the Bank's philanthropic activities, Bank of Bermuda Foundation was established in 2000.

Foundation’s Matching Donation Programme
Bank employees and retired staff are encouraged and supported in their own generous charitable activity through the Foundation's Matching Donation Programme.
Bank of Bermuda Foundation will match staff donations of $50 or more to any registered charity or school in Bermuda. All full time Bank of Bermuda employees or retired Bank staff are eligible and the Foundation will match up to $2000.00 per staff member per year.
